This past weekend, we had the opportunity to broadcast an incredible Facebook Live event focused on the transition of care in epilepsy from the American Epilepsy Society (AES) annual meeting in Washington, DC. This Facebook Live event marked the second installment of a live video series devoted to raising awareness of epilepsy (broadcast in partnership with our friends at Jumo Health). The program featured an engaging discussion between a health care professional and a patient, in which the patient shared her personal experiences growing up with epilepsy.
In just a few short days, the Facebook Live video amassed >8,100 views and has reached >17,450 people—exceeding expectations. Despite limited time for pre-event promotions, media buys played a critical role in targeting social audiences within the epilepsy community, resulting in an impressive engagement rate.
Yet again, Facebook Live has proven to be an excellent social tool for engaging with the social community in real time. To check out the video, click here: http://bit.ly/AES-FBlive
